Corporatism is when corporations take over and run the state. Socialism is when the state takes over and runs the corporations.

Some say Nazi or National Socialism is a form of fascism which I could not argue with.

The only cure is to severely limit both the power and the scope of the state with free market money and decentralize its functions out into competition for people and capital so that state power is removed from the legislator to local community control, trial by jury, arbitration, and private law.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11141878.post-26227647166202829892010-02-21T04:36:41.332-08:002010-02-21T04:36:41.332-08:00I have defined fascism in my head as any kind of l...I have defined fascism in my head as any kind of legal partnership between a special interest group and the state.

Socialism to me has meant state ownership over the means of production, but also the bailouts that result from that, because you cannot separate the two. I have never thought that a socialist system did not include welfare, where fascism can.

Taxpayer bailouts prevent failure, and since under socialism the state has ownership over the means of production the taxpayer guarantees the state enterprise will not fail. Profit and loss become meaningless.

Taxpayer welfare bails people out like a taxpayer bailout bails a state enterprise out and since the state has ownership over the means of production can you separate the two?

It is helpful to have precise terminology to defend capitalism with because that is a major problem. I do not know what that is, but your article made me think.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
